Hello, I’m Water Fire, a curious and adventurous traveler from California who loves connecting with people, learning from different cultures, and contributing wherever I go. I have visited 33 countries and lived in India, Spain, China, Egypt, Türkiye, and the United States. I started my recent journey and left America in December 2024. I am currently living in Spain.

My travels have given me many memorable experiences, including spending three months last year on a mountaintop in Yanai, China, training in Shaolin kung fu. I am kind, spiritual, open-minded, and always eager to discover new ways of seeing the world.

Over the past year, I have worked as an English teacher in a company that spans two countries. I spent over a year as a paid English teacher in Gaziantep, Türkiye, and Cairo, Egypt. Before becoming a teacher, I worked for 15 years as a professional farmer, so I am comfortable with hands-on work and outdoor projects. I am also a computer programmer with experience creating software in several programming languages.

I joined Workaway because I would love to experience daily life with local people while sharing my own skills, stories, and enthusiasm. I can help with English practice, farming, gardening, computers, software, maintenance, and other practical projects. I am dependable, adaptable, and happy to learn whatever is needed.
