Hello! We are Victoire and Alex, a couple from Belgium who have been happily together for 6 years. We’re excited to start this Workaway adventure to discover new places, meet inspiring people, and share meaningful moments along the way. 🌍✨
Victoire: I love animals, nature, and enjoying good and healthy food. I care a lot about respecting the planet and I always enjoy playing board games or spending time in good company. I also love being around children and sharing warm, joyful moments together. Australia really inspires me because I’ve heard that people here care deeply about sustainability, healthy food, and respectful farming practices, all values that are close to my heart.
Alex: I’m passionate about sports, traveling, and making new discoveries. I love being outdoors and exploring nature, and I get a lot of energy from meeting people and learning about different cultures. Australia has always attracted me because it’s a country I’ve never visited, and I’m very curious about its culture and way of life. Plus, I’d love to learn kitesurfing while being there!
Together, what makes us happiest is connecting with others, sharing experiences, and helping out where we can. We can’t wait to meet our hosts in Australia, learn new things, and create beautiful memories along the way! 🌿💫

Victoire:
I hold a Master’s degree in Bioengineering, which gave me strong technical skills in chemistry, botany, physics, and mathematics. On a more practical side, I love gardening and spend a lot of time taking care of my own garden as well as Alex’s. I also have plenty of experience teaching, I give private lessons to both high school students and university students. I often do babysitting and enjoy spending time with children. Cooking is another passion of mine, and I really enjoy preparing healthy meals.
I also have a strong background in horse riding and know how to handle everything related to horses. At home, I take care of chickens and I have a dog, so I’m very comfortable looking after animals and making sure they’re happy and healthy.
Alex:
I have a double Master’s degree in Management Engineering and International Management. Besides my studies, I really enjoy gardening and doing small repairs or DIY projects around the house, I like finding solutions and fixing things. I also learn new skills quickly and always enjoy discovering new things that can be useful and helpful.
Like Victoire, I’ve always been close to animals, having grown up in the countryside with dogs and other animals around me. Cooking is also something I enjoy a lot, especially experimenting with recipes from different countries.

What else ...
We both love staying active and spending time outdoors. Sports are a big part of our lives, we enjoy tennis, padel, skiing, golf, and football. It’s always a fun way to stay healthy, challenge ourselves, and sometimes even meet new people!
We also really value the time spent with others, whether it’s over a nice meal, while traveling, or simply sharing a good laugh.
When it comes to board games, we’re big fans! We enjoy games that immerse us in a fun universe but don’t last too long. Some of our favorites are Catan, Codenames, Dixit, Ticket to Ride, and of course the timeless classic, chess. 🃏♟️
