Hello everyone,
I am Vianney and I have 22 years old, I live in France !
I will be on a European Corps mission in Slovenia at Park Istra. After that, I am open to anything.

Description

I am currently taking a gap year and am looking for several long-term volunteering opportunities abroad to gain knowledge that will benefit myself and my studies.

I want to volunteer during this time for one primary reason : have several experience to discover new peoples and cultures. With workaway, I can go to another European country and experience a real intensive work. This will make it easier for me to help social and environmental situation in need and improve my English.

Until October, I was on a six-month internship in the university's technical department. My role involved researching and explaining new ways of funding university maintenance. Recently, I walked alone along part of the Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle route for four weeks. Now I want to take time to gain experience in a mission that promotes social and/or environmental values.
In fact, in February until the midlle of April, I will be on an european corps mission in Slovenia. So I am looking for a new opportunities since the 19/04.

I have helped out a few times in my home country by providing food for homeless people with a charity. I also helped out in various ways when I was a Scout. For instance, I assisted out in the fields and looked after children. I also helped with various manual tasks, such as painting for house renovations.

After graduating from high school in 2021, I began studying Geography at the University of Bordeaux Montaigne. Over the course of two years, I learnt about countries and cultures, finally earning my first university degree.

I then completed my studies with an additional year. I was admitted to the IATU (Institut d'Aménagement, Tourisme, Urbanisme), a department I had always wanted to study in as I had wanted to work as an urban planner since high school.

I graduated in 2024, gaining my first internship experience in the process. I worked for two months, learning about subjects such as urban ecology and consultation in a small company called Ecologie Urbaine et Citoyenne (EUC).

I am now studying for a Master's degree and finished my first year in April 2025, after which I started a gap year.

I am organised and conscientious, and I look forward to helping you soon.
