Hi !

My name is Verity and I am a 19 year old from Scotland.

I am currently studying Art History at the university of St Andrews. I love art and engaging in art history discussion.

I am outgoing, ambitious and friendly and find huge amounts of joy in meeting new people and trying new things.

I love being in nature whether that be snowboarding, hiking, surfing or yoga I find comfort in the outdoors.

I want to make the most out of the long summer break I get in university and use my time to explore new ways of life and make more cross cultural connections !

Firstly I would say I am a very friendly, kind, and caring individual who likes to help with things!

I am good with children. During my teens I volunteered at my dance school teaching the younger classes dance and drama routines.I myself did dancing and played cello for many years of my life growing up and still am very passionate about music and performance.

My mother is very self efficient and I have grown up around her making her own teas, tinctures and oils from our own plants. She has passed down to me a good understanding of plants, gardening and holistic remedies. However I still have lots to learn!

I enjoy cooking and would be happy to exchange and share recipes.

I am very clean, organised and tidy too.
My mother has hosted lodgers and exchange students in our family home since I was 1 6. I have always helped with keeping our house to a perfect clean standard for any guests. I am passionate and love learning about different cultures, hosting lodgers and exchange students has allowed me to do this and understand new perspectives.

When I am at university I have a part time job in a hotel as a front desk assistant, this has taught me people skills, communication and organisation skills.

I enjoy photography and videography and would be happy to help with any basic social media image creation and content.

I love hiking and I am started to get into charity work too!
This summer at the end of August I am going to Nepal to climb to Mount Everest Basecamp to raise awareness for the UK's leading dementia research charity, Alzheimer's Research Uk. Before my climb I have fundraised over £1500 towards charity!
