  • Description

    Hi there!

I am a creative individual who loves to get hands-on with any project thrown my way. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty! I'm fit and not intimidated by jobs that involve power tools or heavy lifting as these have been part of my job for the past four years.

I have a keen eye for detail and love adding artistic flair and delicate touches to any creative project I get the chance to take part in.

I'm excited to explore the world and meet people who have the same goal of gaining new skills, building connections with others, and making friends.

    Can't wait to meet you!

  • More details about your skills

For the past four years, I have been an Orthotic Technician who makes bespoke leg and spinal braces for disabled children. This involves working with workshop machines, tools, and materials such as hot ovens (for melting plastic), rotary sanders, jigsaws, and plaster to name a few. This work is very precise and has to be made to the millimeter for the orthotic to fit the child properly.

Before this job, I had been a waitress/ food preparer for a fast-food Japanese restaurant for several months after finishing Uni.

At Uni, I studied Prop Making & SFX, which meant I got to fabricate pretty much anything out of whatever materials I deemed most effective for the job. I enjoyed sculpting out of a range of different mediums (Including digitally!). I had the pleasure of getting work experience with a puppet-making company whose work would be used in theatres across the UK. I also got to work with A Prop Making Company whose client was Warner Bros Studio Tour London at the time.
