Description

My name is Tran Khac Viet, I am 18 years old and I come from the Czech Republic. I study at a secondary school through a distance-learning program, which means I only attend classes occasionally and spend most of my time outside school. Because of this, I’ve spent the past three years helping my parents with their business.

This experience has taught me discipline, independence, and how to stay organized in my daily work. At the same time, I have spent most of my time at home – and that’s why I am now highly motivated to step out of my comfort zone, explore the world, experience new environments, and meet new people. I truly enjoy working outdoors and have a great love for animals and nature.

In the future when I get older and have more experience I hope to have a farm of my own. I am a native Czech speaker and my English is at a B2–C1 level.

My parents own shops, and I helped run one of them, which gave me basic knowledge of storing fruit and vegetables. I also worked part-time at the Andaz Prague hotel, where I assisted at banquets, prepared events, and gained experience as a barista. In Switzerland, I volunteered for a short time on a farm through Workaway. I may not have a lot of experience yet, but I am ready to learn anything new. I enjoy learning from new people and adapting to different environments. I’m positive, respectful, and open to feedback.

I enjoy learning new languages, I like football, and I love drawing. When I get into a good book, I can spend half a day reading without even noticing the time.
