Hi, I’m Thomas!
I’m 29 years old and I’m from France. I studied graphic design for five years in Bordeaux, located in the southwest of France. Today, I work as a freelancer and artistic director.
My goal is to travel, discover new places, and gain new experiences along the way. I grew up in Biarritz, a lovely town on the Atlantic coast, and I'm excited to meet people from all over the world during my travels.
One of my previous travel experiences was an internship in Montreal, Canada, where I connected with many people through Couchsurfing. I love this kind of travel because it’s all about meeting new people and sharing experiences. I’m hoping to do the same with Workaway — it’s a great way to travel, learn, and connect with others.
While I’m happy to offer my skills in graphic design or any art-related projects, I can also help with a wide variety of tasks that Workaway hosts often need. Whether it’s personal assistance, gardening, cleaning, or renovations, I’m open to lending a hand wherever it’s needed. I enjoy learning new skills and taking on different challenges!
And by the way, I’m pretty good in the kitchen and can whip up a tasty dish with just a few simple ingredients. 😉
I’m also very creative and passionate about music and art in general. I love exploring different forms of artistic expression, whether it’s through design, painting, or simply listening to good music.
Lastly, I’d describe myself as a very respectful person with a good sense of humor. I promise we’ll have a great time working together!
Looking forward to meeting you soon,
ThomasInterests

More details about your skills
I’m a very creative person — I love drawing everything I see and imagining new ideas. I enjoy inventing, problem-solving, and finding clever solutions, whether it’s in art or everyday tasks.
I’m also skilled with digital tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and social media platforms, which I often use to bring my creative projects to life.
Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies — and I’ve been told my chocolate cake is unbeatable!
Outside the kitchen, I love staying active through extreme sports, skating, and surfing (growing up in Biarritz definitely helped with that).
I also really enjoy hands-on work like gardening, painting, and DIY projects. Anything that lets me build, fix, or create something with my hands makes me happy.
Animal caring is also something i like, I used to grow up surrounded by animals and my last dog Maya lived 18 years. She had an amazing life and i really miss her a lot.Age

Hello workawayers!
Where to begin?
This two-week Workaway is without a doubt one of the best experiences I’ve had in Australia so far.
You’ll arrive in a remote area of Sydney where time seems to stand still. The place, only accessible by ferry or private boat, already sounds dreamy on paper.
