We are a happily married couple of 25 years with three adult kids who have flown the nest. My wife, Dannie and I now travel with our furry child, Lucy, and are embarking on the adventure of a lifetime. We have no plans and no timeframe, we sold everything we own and bought a mobile adventure house and hit the road in January of 2026. We are multi skilled workers, me with a background in construction, roofing and art, she with a background in quality assurance, food safety and music. Lucy has a background in filling her gut and snuggling.
Ronnie is great with kids. He was a volunteer boxing coach for over 20years and loves to teach kids the “sweet science” if you met some of his past boxing students, you could tell by the way they speak of him just what kind of impact and memories he has left them with. He was also our kids friends favorite dad and was always there to offer help, advice and a loving telling off If they needed it.
Dannie is a fantastic cook and baker and has hobbies that number in the dozens. From arts and crafts to puzzling to singing…there’s never a dull moment around her. Right now she’s teaching herself ukulele from you tube videos.
We enjoy and take pride in being good friends who strive to enhance the lives of those who share our orbit, no matter how briefly. We look forward to meeting you! Strangers are just friends we haven’t met yet!

Dannie's background is in microbiology, quality assurance and food safety, although shes done everything from working on the deck of a search and rescue vessel with the Canadian Coastguard to sales and marketing , as well as event planning and television production. She spent her late teenage years as camp councillor in Newfoundland and then moved across country to be a bar tender at a mountain ski resort, so she can build a mean campfire as well as mix a delicious cocktail. She is an avid reader who likes to write creatively on any paper surface that's around when the bug hits. She grows tropical plants, cultivates mushrooms, and loves to craft and sew.
She loves animals of all kinds and grew up on a small hobby farm with chickens, turkeys, pigs, hens and horses; she also spent some years as breeder of German shepherd dogs and is versed in genetics and animal husbandry. She is fascinated by the paranormal and together with Ronnie, produced a paranormal investigative series that aired for two seasons called Newfoundland and Labrador Paranormal.
Ronnie's background is in construction, particularly every kind of roof covering you can think of. He can plumb, do electrical, plaster/paint, siding/windows/doors and landscape. He is great with animals and kids, and has been a volunteer boxing coach for over 20 years. He has run production floors in a processing plant directing a crew of almost 100, as well as directed, produced and edited TV programs and Cartoons. He is a fantastic artist and sculpter, and has restored artwork that's over a century and a half old as well as animated a cartoon using computer animation software. He has anlso acted on local TV series shot in Newfoundland.
He can fix and streamline just about anything if ya give him a minute and isn't afraid to jump in hands on to lend a hand or take the lead, if needed,in just about any project, don't think he's ever had a boss or co worker that didn't love him.

What else ...

We are on the quest to find fun and adventure and enjoyment from life. Since our kids are now adults and we have been parents since we were young, it’s now our time to find out who we are outside our kids. We are laid back and friendly, we love a good laugh and are hard workers who will tackle any project we need to head on.
