Hey!
I'm Theresa! I’m 26 years old and I’m a veterinary surgeon. I was born in India but relocated to Ireland with my family when I was 6 years old, and have been living here ever since.
I'm a really easy going person who and I love meeting new people and getting to know their stories.
My hobbies are sea swims, running, hiking, cooking, painting, and volunteering. I'm really interested in picking up new hobbies too. This year I'm focusing on learning how to surf!
I've also loved learning language since I was a child. I'm fluent in English, Irish and Malayalam. At the moment, I'm interested in learning Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Italian, but open to learning so many others.
I'm interested in Workaways related to the environment, animals, art, cooking, agriculture, research, veterinary, and anything in between! I love learning about new cultures and new ways of life :) -

MY VOLUNTEERING EXPERIENCE
2 weeks as English and PE teacher in India,
1 year as a volunteer in a nursing home once a week,
Occasional volunteering at my local dog rescue,
6 weeks as a youth leader with A.J.S. in Spain,
1 month as a volunteer on rescue a farm in Ireland,
2 weeks at a dog rescue in Portugal
2 weeks as an English tutor for children and adolescents with Angloville in Poland,
5 months as a conservation technician with Plantar Uma Árvore in Portugal (nature conservation mainly involving regeneration of forests, control of invasive species and raising awareness)
