Henrik is looking for a workaway location in, for example, southern Italy, southern Spain, Cyprus (somewhere warmer than Finland at the same time) between November 2025 and March 2026. Together we are looking for a workaway location in Crete in early April 2026.

I work as a health and wellbeing education specialist at Xamk - South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences - Xamk and would like to spend some of my holiday working as a volunteer, maybe week or two. I am interested in new people and culture. I have been couchsurfing and I´ve enjoyed booking rooms and apartments through Airbnb system. Having nice, long conversations and meals together - it has been so fun! Well, I need lots of privacy also.
Henrik:
I have education in construction: so he is very skillful for example with renovation projects. I have built our wooden house and take care of all technical issues here. I paint, do carpentry, chop wood and shovel snow for example.
We are planning to travel as a workawayer separetely (Henrik between November 2025 - March 2026) and together (April 2026). We are used to be with pets: we have had many dogs and we still have a cat. We also often take care of our daughter´s dog. As we live in countryside, also staying in rural areas are fine for us. Maybe you need house sitting or pet sitting. Ask us!
And well. I don´t have feedback as a workawayer but I really know the idea. We have been hosting many workawayers here in our house.
