Description
Hi, I'm Tania! I'm 23, Australian, and I graduated from a business degree last year. My goal is to improve my French and trial-run moving to France by doing a working holiday. I've been a riding school stablehand and worked retail, so I'm not afraid of manual labour. I'm happy working with both people and animals. I'm a lifelong horse-rider, and I love travelling, gardening, sewing, playing video games and embracing new experiences.

HORSE CARE: Throughout highschool, I worked as a stablehand at a riding school. This included mucking out stalls, feeding/watering, grooming, tacking up and assisting with riding lessons. I ride English style, and enjoy dressage, jumping and trail rides.
MANUAL LABOUR: Throughout university, I worked as a store supervisor at a pet supply store. I stocked shelves, unloaded trucks and developed my customer service skills.

The work was straightforward, cleaning holiday homes from morning until lunch time. They were incredibly generous and welcoming hosts. The accommodations were also great, with a whole kitchen just for us Workawayers. Sarlat and the surrounding area is incredibly beautiful. Thank you so much for the experience, … read more
