Hello!
I am in BRAZIL!
Ten years coming... this trip feels like an extension from the trip I took nearly ten years ago as I was drawn to Brazil to reconnect with some wonderful Brazilian friends I made in India.
Below I have left my description from 9, nearly 10 years ago, just deleting the specifics of travelling)!!! Time flies!
I have read through and it's funny to read those core parts of me are still true. The changes being, that I am now 42, have many more experiences; including travel to Melbourne and Canada working on eco building projects, a permaculture project and assisting making amazing naturally dyed organic bags. Ive worked supporting adults with learning difficulties again since, renovated/rebuilt the interior of a 1980s caravan which became a cozy home for 3/4years, Did my yoga TTC... and the job I left to travel is growing organic vegetables in beautiful Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK. I am as ever practical, creative, highly domesticated (which I have now learnt is important to say : ), I can cook and clean well!)

Skills and specific interests:
I leave (left) behind for now, my wonderful job, teaching green wood work to vulnerable adults, and also my freelance work as a green wood chair maker, and the occasional assistant tutor on cob oven building courses!! Lucky me! I am also a very novice basket maker.
I am very much a hands on person (not so fond of being sat at a computer and office all day). I have tried my hand at many wonderful building methods from straw bale building and thatching to timber framing a cruck barn in Wales (see link below for Felin Uchaf).
I am passionate about sustainable living and have been exploring this for 8/9 years (must be 15-20 now). I feel traveling is a real luxury and am aware of the contradictions of flying !!.. I am however allowing myself this luxury and taking this opportunity to grow, connect and learn as much as I can. I do not think of sustainability only in terms of climate and nature, but also am interested in the way most of us live in the relation to this modern world and society....
I consider sustainability through also painting ourselves into natures picture in terms of; energy, cycles, our natural rhythms, community and communication, food and health...
General:
I love to eat good food, and be with friends. I am more happy out in a field than a city generally, but love to visit them and explore all the culture and diversity, and food of course!!
I am an early to bed kind of person... but evenings involving food, live music or fire... or all together, can be an exception : ).
My preferred rhythm is early night, early morning : ) (i try). Starting with yoga and a herbal cup of tea ideally... sometimes a yawn, stretch and a coffee!! : )
I like to eat! Trying new food, but also very happy eating the same thing every day!
I am really looking forward to seeing more of this beautiful country.

I only managed to stay a few days with Hayden, Millie and all the amazing people there... but I don't think I will ever forget it. An amazing sense of community, an incredible ambitious and beautiful building project and being led by Hayden who's beautiful way of being... can only be inspiring.

Thank you!! I spent two separate stays with Woody, and feel blessed to have done so! He is generous, honest and a talented man. I have amazing memories of the people I met there, fires on the beach and in the garden, fishing, cycling, picking veggies from the garden, and amazing food!!
