Hi hi :)
We are Tami and Max a young couple from Germany looking to escape into the wide world.

My name is Tami I‘m 20 years old and i would like to see the world.
2 years ago I went on an Interrail backpack tour with my family through 5 other countries in Europe when I came to the realisation that I actually don’t need that much to survive. It was a great vacation and it really felt like freedom. In 2024 I went to Thailand and it was so interesting learning about other cultures, tasting new food and meeting other people which is something I would like to do more.
I would describe myself as very cheerful, open hearted and curious. I grew up with my parents running a hotel so I’m a social person and get along pretty well with a lot of people. I’m very creative and an artist since I can remember. With the hotel came a fairly big garden to be maintained so if there is any outside work I can help with I’d be happy. From painting jobs to building fences or cutting wood i can show a bit of experience and I'd say I'm able to carry quite a bit of weight.
After school I worked as a waitress and I helped my parents maintain the hotel rooms for quite a while, so if that’s something you are looking for, I can help :)
My English is definitely good enough to communicate with everyone but there is always more to learn so if you need help with federal letters I’m not the one you call ;D
In theory my French should be alright ….but I never got to the point of comfortably using the language. I can understand a bit tho. When I visited Norway and Sweden I tried to learn a bit of the basics and that was pretty fun so I like the idea of learning a new language.
I got my drivers license in 2023 and I am allowed to drive manual and automatic cars.
I grew up with a dog and always loved various animals so if you have any animals I’ll be very happy to see them :) I learned to ride horses and that’s something I would especially like to pick up again.
I am patient and I get along with kids very well.
At the moment I am working in an escape room in Munich so there are lots of young groups looking to be entertained …..adults too of course (they sometimes need even more entertainment ;D ).

I'm Max, 23, waiter by trade, writer by choice. I spend my time mostly contemplating day to day life so I have always felt the urge to kinda just pack up and see some of the world. An opportunity which I have effectively never used in my 4 years of being out of school, with my A-Levels done. I started waiting tables when I was 15, mostly because of my parents nagging me to finally start earning my own money and getting some work experience as early as possible. I hated it at first. Monotonous, stressful, bad collegues, all around just not my type of thing. So I stopped, finished up school and took a well deserved break to find some pieces of myself and to build myself up anew. The need for money didnt leave howevere, so I went back to being a waiter and fell in love with it. It's the approach that counts, especially when it comes to other people. I can't expect to be received well, if I see my work and myself as part of a monotonous and vicious cycle that just drains energy. I realized I had an impact on people's days and that I was actually part of something. I enjoy bringing other people joy, be it one that goes through your stomach or a smile on a gloomy day, I feel accomplished when I see my work having an effect.

I've never really been a hands-on type of person. Handywork, gardening and all the things your father normally shows you when you grow up I had absolutely no interest in. He certainly tried but I always had something better to do like painting walls (helping out my parents and sometimes without supervision *wink* *wink*), writing stories and phantasizing about epic battles with my figurines.
I'd love to learn now however! It feels somewhat odd not to know a lot about how to tend to a house or garden, since I someday wanna live in one or the other, depending on the housing prices lol

I love everything that has to do with people, creativity, conversation, writing and poetry or language in general. Thats also why I would love an opportunity to expand my vocabulary in spanish (or get the grammar down correctly lol)
I write a lot or at least I did write a lot when I wasnt working as much as I have been and I would love to talk to a different array of inspiring people to rekindle that flame. They tend to bring out the best in me =D

I also love animals, having grown up with cats and a dog, they've always been an integral part of my life =)

I'd say I'm a quick study so I don't mind doing work I haven't done before, yet I do ask a lot of questions. I don't wanna mess anything up and I need to assure myself that I am doing things correctly, so I apologize in advance ^^'

All in all, this adventure is an opportunity for me to learn about myself, the people and world around me and the overlapping fields of them and how to arrange myself within this interconnected little life. That being said, I'm looking forward to making memories and being one.
