Hello! I'm an enthusiastic volunteer with a background in nonprofit administration and English teaching, eager to support community-driven projects around the world. I believe that this work builds a more sustainable, compassionate future—and creates truly meaningful lives for everyone involved.

I bring both professional and volunteer experience across a wide range of nonprofit efforts, including:

-Planning community volunteer events

-Conducting outreach through tabling, networking, and relationship building

-Organizing recreational activities for neurodiverse children

-Assisting with manual labor such as farming and sorting tasks

I’ve also taught English in a variety of contexts, including:

-Children in China and Vietnam (in training centers, public schools, and private tutoring)

-Adults working and studying in the U.S. (in language centers)

-Refugees in the U.S. (as a volunteer tutor)

In every role, I combine patience and empathy with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to the world around me.

I am a CELTA-certified English language teacher, and have taught English to all ages and ability levels. I am extremely interested in learning the language of the local culture I visit. I'm also attempting to learn Spanish in my free time!

What else ...

By my nature, I'm a very adventurous person- even if my demeanor doesn't seem that way! I've skydived, I've danced on a stage completely impromptu, and I've modeled for people despite having not having any background (or looks!) for it! If it's new and weird, chances are I'll go for it.

I try to read as much as possible. I'm mostly interested in books about communication, pop culture, and ethics (e.g. Peter Singer). I also have an on and off relationship with science fiction and fantasy- I LOVE The Three-Body Problem series!
