Après avoir vécu dans sept pays différents, appris cinq langues, passé de longues années dans les Antilles et y avoir construit un gîte, je sais m'adapter à toutes les situations. Je partage ma vie entre la Métropole et les Antilles, où accueillir des visiteurs des quatre coins du monde.
J'ai plus de 20 ans d'expérience dans la traduction et une très bonne maîtrise des outils informatiques dans des organisations internationales. Je peux toujours apprendre très vite ce que je ne sais pas encore faire et adore découvrir et partager de nouveaux modes de vie.
J'espère avoir bientôt le plaisir de pouvoir vous aider à mener à bien vos projets!
En 2021, je serai en Italie en septembre et en octobre et France en novembre, à moins que vous ne m'invitiez à venir vous rejoindre dans d'autres endroits sympathiques.
Mes enfants volant désormais de leurs propres ailes, j'envisage actuellement de venir m'installer dans l'Hexagone ou en Italie pour y partager un projet de vie avec une communauté existante ou en cours de constitution. Je cherche un écolieu ouvert, où je pourrais mettre mes compétences au service d'une vision du monde moins intolérante et consumériste que celle qui vient mettre en péril l'existence même de presque tous les petits pays insulaires en développement.
J'ai encadré des travaux de construction pour rénover entièrement plusieurs lieux de vie, créé et géré un écogîte où promouvoir des échanges linguistiques et multiculturels, défriché un terrain et cultivé un potager bio axé sur la biodiversité pour préserver les semences locales et nourrir ma famille et nos visiteurs avec des ingrédients sains et locaux. J'ai créé un réseau de traducteurs (SCOP) pour aider des particuliers et des associations à créer des liens et communiquer au-delà des barrières linguistiques et des frontières de tous ordres. J'accueille aussi des bénévoles et voyageurs (woofing, helpx, workaway, couchsurfing) depuis des années.
Après toutes ces expériences, et bien d'autres encore de par le monde, ma polyvalence et mes facultés d'adaptation me permettent aujourd'hui d'envisager de partager le quotidien d'une communauté ouverte et respectueuse de la nature où je pourrais participer à des activités de maraîchage, des activités culinaires (transformation de fruits et légumes pour vente ou consommation), ou artistiques (ateliers créatifs, musicaux…), à l'organisation de stages (linguistiques, nutrition, bien-être, recentrage) et/ou à des travaux de construction.
P.S. Végétarienne et non-fumeuse, j'adore les animaux. Je ne fais pas de prosélytisme et peux m'intégrer à une communauté omnivore mais préfère éplucher les oignons que les volailles ;-)

After having lived in seven different countries, learned five languages, spent many years in the West Indies and built a guest house there, I know how to adapt to all situations. At the moment, I share my life between France and the West Indies where I welcome visitors from all over the world.

As my chidren are busy building their own life now, I am thinking of moving to France or Italy to share a project with an existing community or one that is being formed. I am looking for an open eco-friendly environment, where my skills could help give life to a less intolerant and consumerist vision of the world than the one that is jeopardizing the very existence of almost all small island developing countries.
I have supervised construction work to entirely renovate several houses, created and managed an eco-lodge to promote linguistic and multicultural exchanges, cleared land and grown organic food focusing on biodiversity to preserve local seeds as well as to feed my family and our visitors with healthy, local ingredients. I have created a network of translators (SCOP) to help individuals and associations create links and communicate across language barriers and borders of all kinds. I have also been hosting volunteers and travelers (woofing, helpx, workaway, couchsurfing) for years.
After all these experiences, and many others around the world, I consider myself flexible and capable enough to share the daily life of an open and respectful community where I could participate in gardening activities, culinary activities (processing of fruits and vegetables for sale or consumption), or artistic activities (creative and musical workshops...), in setting up or running training courses (languages, nutrition, well-being, refocusing) and/or in construction work.
P.S. I am a vegetarian and non-smoker and I love animals. I won't try to convince anyone to do the same and can very well live in an omnivorous community but prefer peeling onions than plucking birds ;-)
