Hi! We are Clara and Simone, a 30-something couple about to embark on a new experience. This adventure comes from a deep desire to step out of our comfort zone, discover new cultures, improve our English, and live meaningful, hands-on experiences that help us grow together.
We are positive, curious, and open-minded individuals who love learning new things and contributing to projects with enthusiasm and a great work ethic. In our free time, we love spending time in nature, board games, cooking good meals, and long multi-day hikes—especially those leading to breathtaking views.
Between us, we bring a wide mix of skills: Clara has a background in science, chemistry, and organization, while Simone brings enthusiasm, problem-solving, and adaptability. Whether it's helping out outdoors, keeping things tidy, assisting with technical or daily tasks, or cooking a nice Italian dish to share, we are always ready to learn and get involved.

Simone is a computer engineer with a strong passion for tech—from troubleshooting to programming, he feels completely at home with hardware and software. Outside the digital world, he is super handy with home repairs, using power tools, painting walls, fixing things, and he loves taking stuff apart to understand how it works. He also has practical experience harvesting olives and carobs, so he’s no stranger to physical outdoor work.

Through our Workaway experience, Simone has also learned to mow lawns, repair electrical cables, build a wooden bench, and paint wooden structures, and has become even more confident with practical maintenance and DIY projects.

Clara brings a strong scientific background as a chemist, along with strong organisational skills, keen attention to detail, and a practical mindset. Through our Workaway experience, she has also gained hands-on renovation skills by helping refurbish a room—from levelling walls and painting to applying exterior window silicone. She also enjoys crocheting and can make small handmade projects, adding another creative and practical skill to her abilities.

Together, we are a versatile and balanced team: practical, curious, and quick to adapt. We both love cooking, trying out new recipes, and spending time outdoors. Between Simone’s technical and hands-on skills and Clara’s analytical and organisational approach, we are ready to tackle anything—from household maintenance and garden work to organising daily tasks or cooking a nice Italian meal for the house.

We speak fluent Italian and are actively improving our English every day.
