Johanna speaks German and English fluently, French and Spanish at an intermediate level. Luca on the other hand speaks German fluently, English intermediate and has just started learning Spanish. As we're currently improving our Spanish, we'd love to practice with locals :) Johanna habla alemán e inglés con fluidez, y francés y español a un nivel intermedio. Luca, en cambio, habla alemán con fluidez, inglés a nivel intermedio y acaba de empezar a aprender español. Como estamos mejorando nuestro español, ¡nos encantaría practicar con gente local!

Hi there - we're Johanna & Luca, two curious travelers from Austria, currently riding our motorcycles all the way through South America.

We both enjoy being outdoors, living simply, but we also like to treat ourselves and enjoy the good moments in life from time to time. In the past few years, we've explored a lot in our campervan, and now we're excited to take on the challenge of travelling by motorcycle and living out of a tent - embracing adventure und testing our limits along the way.

More about Johanna:
I am a dietitian and work at a rehabilitation center with children and adults recovering from cancer. I also occasionally help out at my parents alpine café (typical in Austria). In my free time, I love hiking, climbing or simply soaking up the sun. I am passionate about baking and experimenting with new recipies - and when I have a quiet moment, I enjoy playing the flute or expressing myself through painting or knitting.

More about Luca:
I work in a company as a joiner and carpenter. In my free time, I love alpine adventures - mountaineering, skiing, rock climbing and ice climbing - and I am part of a mountain rescue team. Being in the mountains is my passion, I like pushing my limits while also helping others in challenging situations.

Together, we balance each other well - one of us more practical and spontanious, the other a bit more creative and organized - but both open-minded, reliable and eager to help.

Hola, somos Johanna y Luca, dos viajeros curiosos de Austria que actualmente recorremos toda Sudamérica en motocicleta.

A ambos nos encanta estar al aire libre, vivir de forma sencilla, pero también disfrutar de los buenos momentos de la vida de vez en cuando. En los últimos años exploramos mucho en nuestra furgoneta camper, y ahora estamos emocionados por asumir el desafío de viajar en moto y vivir en una tienda de campaña, abrazando la aventura y poniendo a prueba nuestros límites en el camino.

Soy dietista y trabajo en un centro de rehabilitación con niños y adultos que se están recuperando del cáncer. También ayudo de vez en cuando en el café alpino de mis padres (muy típico en Austria). En mi tiempo libre me encanta hacer senderismo, escalar o simplemente disfrutar del sol. Me apasiona hornear y experimentar con nuevas recetas; y cuando tengo un momento tranquilo, disfruto tocar la flauta o expresarme a través de la pintura o el tejido.

Más sobre Luca:
Trabajo en una empresa como carpintero y ebanista. En mi tiempo libre me encantan las aventuras alpinas: el montañismo, el esquí, la escalada en roca y en hielo, y formo parte de un equipo de rescate de montaña. Estar en las montañas es mi pasión; me gusta poner a prueba mis límites y al mismo tiempo ayudar a los demás en situaciones difíciles.

Juntos nos complementamos muy bien: uno de nosotros es más práctico y espontáneo, el otro un poco más creativo y organizado, pero ambos somos de mente abierta, confiables y siempre dispuestos a ayudar.
