  • Description

I feel most happy when gardening, crafting, cooking, surfing and sailing.

I intend to become a skipper and later in life, a midwife. I love the ocean and even tried studying Marine Biology but found the online learning environment far too abstract.

I enjoy making herbal medicines and working with clay, leather and wood.

I am skilled with cooking especially with mediterranean and vegan diets from work experience.

I am a skilled carer and have worked with people of many ages in need of someone to look after them. I especially love children. I have experience as a children's birthday entertainer.

I have lots of experience working in hotels, retreats and hostels. I enjoy the different dynamics of people and to help others. I have experience with organising events at a sanctuary and learnt how to do website attunement.

I enjoy practicing permaculture principles and still have much to learn.

  • More details about your skills

In my past workaway experiences, I really enjoyed looking after my host's children and doing gardening work on a farm and cooking.

Before lockdown (just graduated from steiner schooling) I was co running a bed and breakfast with my older sister. I learnt a lot about hospitality, guiding yoga practices, cooking and connecting with unique people.

I have past experience living at a permaculture community where I learnt so much, from syntropics to counselling. Yurt and water tank building to managing the tea harvests. I'm most grateful for deepening my knowledge on the basic principles of beekeeping and communal living.
I am very adaptable and love to learn. I also love cooking and would often cook for the community.

I have completed a course at golden bay sustainability centre certification in permaculture design.

I was working at a retreat on an island in Greece. Sometimes I teach yoga but often I am cooking and serving food thrice a day plus snacks and teas. It is my happy place to nourish others and learn. It's kitchen planet over here! I am never bored !

I was tending a sanctuary called Wingsong. This includes keeping the home and garden meticulously tidy almost as if no one lives there and there is a temple space where I co-ordinate events for different things like Yoga, breath work, baby blessings, diferent workshops.

Currently I live in raglan Te Whangaroa. I work at the markets making falafels and for the home schooling group for young children. I live at Hakea, a community where we aim to live self sufficiently, host guests and permaculture students.
