More details about my language interests
Chinese: I am currently pursuing a degree in China Studies which also entails learning the language. The language I am focusing on is Mandarin, and while I am only familiar with the simplified characters, given that is not only what we are taught at my university, but also the fact that I have previously studied Chinese in Beijing. I am however were keen on also getting familiar with the traditional characters. English: While English is not my first language (it's my second language) it is however a language I feel very comfortable both speaking and writing, and I would definitely classify myself as being fluent in the language. Therefore I am willing, if the opportunity arrives, to teach in the language. Danish: Danish is my first language and I would love to teach anyone interested in learning it.

Although I have never tried a workaway before, I have had a long working life behind me. I have worked retail for what feels like a lifetime, and even for a short while was a manager in the location I was working at. So I have a good sense of how to deal with people and customers alike, along with the classic skills of cleaning, cooking and supporting in any need that may arise.

I always find it difficult to write about me in these sorts of things, because I would probably describe myself as an easygoing person who loves to chill on the couch watching a movie, but also going out and explore, as a wise person once said "you get the best of both worlds".
