Hi! I'm Simone, a 27-year-old from Italy.
I'm currently on a journey to find my own version of happiness, and that's why I want to travel and explore new places. I'm really looking forward to having meaningful experiences through Workaway.

I feel a strong need to start this adventure and, most of all, to share it with amazing people from all around the world.

I’m a chef, and one of my biggest passions is discovering new cultures through their food. I’d love to learn about local cuisines, cooking techniques, and traditional ingredients from all over the world — and of course, share a bit of Italian cooking too!

If I had to say what makes me happy, I’d go with: nature, open-minded and fun people, and anything that involves being outdoors!

I’m a determined and dynamic chef with over 8 years of experience managing a pub and working in high-quality kitchens. I’ve developed strong skills in staff coordination, kitchen operations, and customer service, and I enjoy creating an efficient and positive work environment. Passionate about the food service industry, I’m always looking for ways to grow professionally and take on new challenges. I work well both independently and as part of a team, and I’m comfortable managing both kitchen and dining room services.

I have a real passion for basketball, which I have been playing for many years. Recently, I also discovered rock climbing and I fell in love with it — I enjoy the challenge and being in nature.
I'm also a big fan of board games because I like spending time with people and thinking strategically. In my free time, I love reading, especially cookbooks and books about economics, because I enjoy learning new things and discovering different ways of thinking.

I consider myself a dynamic and patient person. I like being active, but I also know how to stay calm and focused when needed. Most of all, I am very motivated to learn from new experiences, other cultures, and the people I meet. I believe that every person has something to teach, and I’m always curious and open-minded.
