  • Description

The first thing comes to my mind about self is that I’m a middle-ager stuck in a metropolis.
I grew up in a small town in India, traveled several countries, studied and worked in the USA, studied and worked in India.
The first book that stuck with me since childhood is Black Beauty by Anna Sewell. It’s penned like a horse’s autobiography. Ever since I read the book as a teenager, I knew I love nature, want to be surrounded by animals, be free, travel, and feel the wind in my hair like a horse would in its mane.
I’ve always had professional success because of my diligence and commitment, but never felt satisfaction. Because of my nomadic upbringing, I really like to switch work, switch the social circles I move in, and feel the need to live like a wayfarer.
I do take some pride in calling myself weather-proof, meaning I’m an all weather all terrain loving human. I don’t have a favourite season, nor location. I also just like variety, I could be at a lavish beach resort one day, and be using a porta potty on a mountain-side next.
I am a vegetarian because of my love for animals, and have volunteered at rescue shelters as well as worked as pet sitter for elongated durations.
I do not do drugs, drinks, nor smoke, because I really believe staying fit will help me with my dream to explore as much of the universe as I can.
I’m a mother to two rescued cats. They are the only reason why I call my home a home, otherwise it’s just four walls with a roof.
I own a small online jewellery business called Tribal Thug.
I also have a pick-up truck that I want to keep building up as my house on wheels.
I do dream to have a farm with a tiny house and rescue animals closer to retirement.
