Hello friends, greetings from Sharayu (Mau) and Rohan (Ro)!

Mau is a full stack developer and a trained classical singer. She is passionate about trekking, music, cooking, astronomy and painting. She is the soul of the group wherever she goes! She plays the harmonium and is learning the violin. Meeting new people and learning from their experiences is something she likes a lot.

Ro is an IT graduate who has quit his job for traveling. He is passionate about trekking, photography, history and cinema. Apart from that he loves cooking, sketching, driving and listening to music. A true art lover at heart and an explorer of the world. He is also a little into astronomy and astro-photography. He plays the uke, djembe and happy drum. Currently he is researching on a Japanese meditation technique called Shinrin Yoku (healing through nature). He loves to meet new people, make new friends and have an enriching culture exchange between them.

Together we make a solid team! We began our travelling with a one-year-long trip across India surfing the unexplored areas and gathering diverse experiences. We have a good experience in volunteering and workawaying through India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. We know that we owe a lot to society and nature and hence love the concept of Workaway. We would love to meet you and listen to your stories..

Ro:
- Worked on organic farms in Auroville (planting, mulching, de-weeding).
- Worked on building mud and bamboo houses in Pune and Tamhini ghats.
- Set up a compost toilet to convert human feces into plant manure.
- Have run an anti-plastic campaign all over India visiting schools and public bodies demonstrating the making of cloth and paper bags to students.
- Traveled and planted over 500 trees across all states of India.
- Volunteered in painting walls with graffiti for a hostel in Kathmandu.
- Regular practitioner of Forest bathing (can take sessions)
- Fluent in English, Hindi and learning Spanish.
- Good at cooking, playing some instruments, storytelling, writing and photography

Mau:
- Singer (has taken formal training in Indian classical music), web-developer, harmonium player and trekker.
- Fluent in English, Hindi and learning Russian.
- Good at cooking and attending guests.
- We both have attended to guests and entertained them with music and bonfire at our last volunteering place in Munnar.

What else ...

We are super accommodating and looking for like minded people. We love board games - our favorites are Uno, Scrabble, Chess, Monopoly, Catan, Splendor, Risk, Codenames, Cluedo and Jenga!
