Hi there,
My name is Shane Clarke I am a 22 year old that began travelling after my studies in Environmental Science with Technology. Me and my girlfriend Isabelle, who is 25 and from England, are currently travelling through Central America and are excited to learn more about life here and keen to gain new skills and experiences along the way.
I am from rural Ireland where I grew up on a cattle and a raspberry farm. For 11 years I worked with raspberries and developed a passion for fruit harvesting. Isabelle has lots of hospitality experience having worked in several cafes, bars and restaurants. We also both have experience of gardening, house sitting and bar work. We are both hard working and love being outdoors. We enjoy interacting with new people and are always keen to learn new things. We are especially interested in organic farming and would also like to learn more about natural buildings and sustainable projects. At the moment we speak English fluently and are learning Spanish so any help with that would also be great.
What motivates us is that we want to see as much of the world we can whilst meeting people from different backgrounds and understanding their culture and ways of life. Helping people and learning new skills brings us joy and we hope to do a lot this year!

I grew up on a farm so I am well used to manual labour like garden maintenance, feeding animals, looking after fruit/veg plants. I also like to cook meals and offer help in the kitchen.
I believe I'm a hard working person that communicates well with others.If Im set a task to do, I will do it to my best ability and enjoy it.

he is a self starter and basically never had to be asked to do anything he found and knew what needed to be done.
i wish he would come back and bring some friends too!
