Hello! We are a couple from Ontario, Canada currently working in the restaurant industry.
Seb is a professional chef with 15 years of experience. Dan has a Bachelor's in Business Management, specialising in policy and ethics, and has been bartending for four years.
We are looking to gain new skills, learn new things, and meet new people. In particular, we're interested in learning about market farming, homesteading, carpentry, foraging, masonry, and other handiwork.
We love animals, nature, music, food, and old architecture.
Dan has travelled within Canada, to the USA, and to England. Seb has travelled to Greece, Spain, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Cuba, and Ireland, where he lived and worked for two years.

Dan & Seb were with us almost 4 entire weeks. They initially came to help with the stone walls but ended not just making a remarcable progress on the west wall of the property, but also coping with other tasks such as making firewood, digging a key-line and the bast majority of the water pond, taking TLC of the entire property while we were out,… read more

We hosted Sebastian and Daniel over Christmas and we had a brilliant experience with them. Both are interesting to talk to, fun and lighthearted and super helpful. They were both caring to our pets, and our children loved spending time with them - we would certainly host them again and would recommend them to other hosts.

We stayed at Flora and Mungo's place this past holiday season and looked after their home while they were traveling. We had an amazing time and found the work both active and rewarding.
