  • Description

My name is Sara, and I’m a Sophomore from Taiwan who’s on a mission: to experience the world with all five senses — to see, hear, touch, taste, and smell everything in life ,and of course to capture those meaningful moments through my camera and my paintbrush. Along the way, I hope to help every person, animal, and place I encounter, in whatever way I can. 💫

I’m looking for a work exchange opportunity that brings me closer to nature — whether it’s on a farm, helping with animals, or supporting meaningful community projects. Getting my hands dirty (with soil, no trouble!) is something I genuinely enjoy. I love working outdoors, and I feel happiest when surrounded by plants, animals, and people with good stories to tell.

I speak fluent Mandarin and good English, and I’m currently learning German (slowly but enthusiastically!). Thanks to years of watching anime and K-dramas, I also know a bit of Japanese and Korean — just enough to say “Nani?!” or “Oppa!” at exactly the wrong time. 😅

In my free time, you’ll probably find me taking photos, painting, playing table tennis, biking around or laughing at a comic book. I’m also deeply passionate about animals — I’d gladly spend hours caring for them, whether they’re farm animals, stray animals, or a moody cat with trust issues. I love visiting my friends home because their cat are so adorable.

I’m responsible and always curious to learn something new . Although my university major isn’t in carpentry or veterinary science, I believe I can pick up practical skills quickly — especially the simple, hands-on ones. I’m not afraid to try, ask questions, or get a little messy in the process.

If you’re looking for someone who can work hard, laugh easily, and maybe even teach you how to say “hello” in five languages (depending on the anime), I’d love to join your team.

    Warmest regards,
    Sara

I’m looking forward to a experience is which can improve my English or German through real-life conversation and interaction. I believe that learning a language is not just about books — it’s about using it in daily life, and I’m excited to do that in a meaningful and fun environment.

  • More details about your skills

Although my major is in Public Administration and Policy, I’ve always believed that real learning happens both inside and outside the classroom. My academic background has trained me to observe society, understand how communities function, and respond to people’s needs with care and insight.

In terms of hands-on experience, I’ve worked in local hostels through work exchange programs in my home country — so I’m no stranger to housekeeping tasks, keeping spaces tidy, and warmly welcoming travelers from all over the world. I’ve also worked as a tutor for elementary school children, which taught me the power of patience, empathy, and how to explain things clearly and simply (with a smile!).

One of my strengths is offering companionship and genuine hospitality. Whether it’s chatting with guests, assisting with everyday tasks, or just being a kind, observant presence, I enjoy making others feel comfortable and seen. I’ve also served as a student club leader at my university, which means I’ve had plenty of experience organizing activities, supporting teamwork, and keeping things running smoothly — even when unexpected challenges pop up!

Taking care of animals, helping out on a farm, or supporting events are all things I’m excited to do. I’m adaptable, quick to learn, and always eager to lend a hand where needed.

Lastly, I’d be more than happy to offer Mandarin language lessons or cultural exchange sessions — I have a deep love for my culture, and I enjoy sharing it with others in a fun and easy-to-understand way.

One of my proudest moments was helping a young student grasp a difficult subject for the first time. That moment of connection, of helping someone feel more confident and capable — that’s the kind of experience I hope to create more of, wherever I go.
