  • Description

Hi, I'm Sandra, from Quebec but I spend the major part in my life in BC , how do I describe myself? Always looking for new challenge, out of my confort zone, pushing my limits. Passionate about too many things, life is so short, not a second to waste. What feeds me? Exploring, by the land or by kayaking, my lifestyle on the road, being a nomad brings me so many wonderful surprises and wonderful encounters. The more time I spend away from big cities, the better I feel. Solitary, I need my own space to recharge my energy and meditate but I enjoy the company of people who have great energy, a connection with nature and inspiring life experiences to tell. I like to spend time with kids and animals, with them everything become magic.
I spent 6 months two years ago off grid on Vancouver Island, alone in my teepee, in winter. Every evening, I splited my wood, carried my water and cooked on my wood stove, all this in same time with my full time job like woodworker, so I'm not a lazy person. It was an amazing adventure.
My new lifeproject is to liveaboard on my own futur sailboat, west coast or East coast who knows, I need to explore both. I finish my sailing lesson last year so when is possible I'm looking for more connection in that community to learn more about that lifestyle and everything about sailing, Staying on a sailboat during my workaway could be an amazing experience if you have one and if is possible, even in cool weather but otherwise having my own private space for me and my kitty would make me happy. Also I've my own car and my kayak.
Aging healthy is my ultimate goal in life, so eating well and staying active is part of my daily life. That's me briefly, looking forward to meeting you.

  • More details about your skills

More than 10 years of experience in fruit picking and orchard life. Graduated in woodworking, since 2015, I have accumulated great work experience in cabinetmaking and creative carpentry but only in winter, I don't like working indoors, even less when the good weather arrives. I do very well with tools and I learn very quickly. I like to create with my hands and I'm constantly looking for new experiences to learn skills and grow through it. I like physical and logical work. I'm quite versatile. If you are looking for a productive little ant on your land, I could be that person.

  • What else ...

I travel since 5 years with my adorable kitty cat. Her name is Cecile. She's my girl and her security is my priority and she has a very good sense of adaptaption, she doesn't explore much outside, she's afraid. She stays by my side and my car is her security when we are on the road, she sleeps there all day. No problem with her for sure. She also can stay inside off my accomodation all the time and go outside with me on leash if you preffer.
