Description
Hi,
I'm Sam. I'm 24 and from the south west of England. I started travelling in 2022 and spent 4 months interarrailing 11 European cities and doing workaways in Austria and Croatia. In 2023 I moved to Canada, I have spent the last 2 summers working at a wilderness lodge in the Chilcotin region in BC. During the winters I have been learning to snowboard, First at Mount Washington on Vancouver Island and the second spent in Revelstoke.
Having grown up in the countryside I have a big love of the outdoors, I spend most of my free time hiking, running, cycling, reading, playing football, climbing and practicing photography. I also enjoy socialising with friends, at the beach, lake, playing games, or whatever the go is.
My next destination is Australia, I have no plans yet but would love to explore the East coast. I'm keen to meet new people, share experiences and learn as much as I can.

During my previous workaways I have done; Guiding, Photography, Logistics, Painting, General maintenance, Gardening, De-cluttering/Organising, Housekeeping and Hospitality. I have extensive experience in customer service starting in hospitality when I was 14. I have had roles as a; Server, Housekeeper, Reservation agent and some Bartending. Having worked in a diverse range of jobs this has enabled me to pick up new skills quickly.
