Hi! Welcome to the wonderful organised chaos of my life!

It feels like I've been living out of my suitcase for the last 3 years moving from New Zealand to Australia with various jobs all as a chef. I've had experience with WWOOF and volunteering in a couple of different permaculture farms, which I am very passionate about and love learning about. While in Japan Ideally I would love to lend a hand in similar farm environments, but also I am interested in learning to teach English.

I just recently finished a 120-hour-long TEFL course to teach English. I hope to take this with me through Japan and the rest of Asia as a means to meet new people, income, and above all else to help people learn a new skill.

Travel companions would be great! It does get lonely at times, also I love meeting new people. From the 18th of March(2025) I plan to be living out of a tent and travelling Japan on foot(mostly). Ticking of a couple of pilgramiage trails and climbing many mountains being the bucket list items.

I'm a chef by trade and have been doing it for over 3 years, with a wide spectrum of experience from small to large functions, fine dining, remove work, quick order, and large scale. I like to think I have seen a lot of what the culinary world has to offer, though there is always still and forever so much to learn. I've had leadership experience in multiple roles too.

I'm also and avid gardener, I love growing food and learning all there is in the sector.
