Hi there!
We are Sam and Esther, both 27 years old and from the country of chocolate and beer; Belgium.
We both love traveling the slow way: taking our time to really discover and understand a place and to connect with the locals. The ideal way of doing that is to volunteer, where there is a two-way exchange and everybody learns from each other.

Sam is an energetic and positive person, always up for adventure and trying something new. He is very social and outgoing and always wants to include everyone to have a great time. He is communicative and you mostly will find him joking around. Nevertheless, he's also up for deeper conversations about life. Sam is a technician, finds solutions for every little or big problem and just loves to work with his hands. He also has experience in catering, being a handyman, a bit of permaculture, animator and childcare. When we lived in Portugal two years ago, he discovered his passion for surfing, a lifestyle that goes hand in hand with his admiration for nature.

Esther is a creative and rather artistic person with an infinite curiosity. She used to slow travel for about 4 years and loves to discover new places, people and their customs. During her travels she developed her passion for jewelry by taking classes in silversmithing and eventually creating her own brand. Next to that, she loves to cook and to dive into the herborist world. She's a very social person who is always up for a chat , a laugh or a meaningful conversation. In her free time, she likes to be active, going on a hike, surfing, doing yoga or trying out something new. She studied communication and graphic design so can also help with that if needed. Next to that, she has experience in catering, permaculture, hosting, helping in construction and guiding.

After spending a year in our van while working abroad and subsequently getting back on the financial track in Belgium, we are ready to discover Australia and dive into new adventures!

Esther is very interested in languages and in teaching them. She speaks English, Dutch and French fluently and conversational Spanish. She taught English to kids in Guatemala in a Workaway already and loves to help people with this.

Sam is a technician and in general very handy. He can be a big help in any construction job. He also has experience in permaculture, catering, hosting.

Esther already has volunteered in different places: catering, hosting, permaculture, construction, dog shelter, teaching, painting. She can help with social media since she studied communication and is a great cook.

We're both very social and outgoing and communicative, so we work well in teams.
