Namaste, I'm Ste.
I've been traveling through India and Nepal since November 2023 and have spent over four months in Sri Lanka teaching yoga and volunteering. Immersing myself in different cultures and practices, I’m now looking to contribute to a community that values connection, spirituality, and shared growth.
Originally from the West Midlands, UK, I’ve lived in the French Alps and the Canary Islands, with travels spanning Europe, North Africa, and Asia. I thrive in communal settings, bringing strong communication skills and a passion for working with people of all backgrounds—including children, the elderly, and those with disabilities.
I’m eager to engage in meaningful projects, whether through hands-on work, creative expression, or nature-based activities. I love hiking, surfing, drawing, meditation, and working with the land—cultivating plants whenever space allows. My journey has led me to embrace community living, natural building, permaculture, yoga, songwriting, drumming, kirtans, and Vipassana meditation.
I’ve volunteered in the UK, Portugal, and Morocco, gaining experience in off-grid communities, hostels, and eco-building projects. Now, I seek a space where I can share ideas, deepen my spiritual practice, learn new skills, and contribute to something greater.
Looking forward to connecting!

Education
I studied Drawing and Applied Arts in Bristol, UK.
Work Experience
Throughout my career, I have taken on a variety of roles, including bartender, laborer, landscaper, events crew member, delivery driver, personal assistant, support worker, teaching assistant, and technical assistant.
My experience in support work has been particularly meaningful. As a personal assistant to a disabled entrepreneur, I helped him run his mobile DJ business, providing both practical and technical support. I have also worked in various educational settings, both inside and outside of schools, where I was responsible for the care and well-being of children. My role included assisting with play sessions, storytelling, circle time, arts and crafts, music sessions, and forest school activities.
In addition, I volunteered with the Creative Youth Network, supporting young people in expressing their creativity through woodwork and landscape gardening. These roles have been deeply rewarding, offering valuable lessons about myself and the importance of patience, adaptability, and empathy.
Travel Experience
Some of my most memorable adventures have taken place in Southeast Asia. I participated in a survival expedition alongside two Kenyans, one German, and two Englishmen, traveling across East Indonesia and its archipelagos. For two months, we lived off the land and sea, island-hopping and exploring some of the world’s most pristine and untouched coral reefs.
Our journey took us from the island of Timor to Alor, then to East Nusa, with stops at many remote islands along the way. We adapted to life at sea and in the wilderness, facing challenges that tested our resilience, relationships, and ability to embrace discomfort. This experience pushed me beyond my limits, helping me grow as a person and gain a deeper understanding of myself. It was an unforgettable journey—one that shaped me in ways I never expected. Some more information
