Hello, My name is Ste,
I'am currently traveling India. I have been immersed in the vibrant culture of Kerala, exploring its wonders. My journey led me to Sivananda Ashram for a rejuvenating Yoga retreat, and later to Karnataka, where I delved into a transformative yoga teacher training program in Mysuru, at Praguna Yoga Shala.
I am presently in Uttarakhand, with plans to venture further north into Nepal in search of a place to establish roots and sustain my practice.
About me:
I am originally from the West Midlands of England, I have lived in the UK, the French Alps, and the Canary Islands, with travels spanning Europe, North Africa, and Asia.
I thrive on connecting with new people, embodying an outgoing nature. I have good communication skills that enable me to excel both independently and as part of a team. I have valuable experience in working with children, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities.
I am eager to dive into and immerse myself in any tasks or projects you are working on. I bring a versatile skill set and a can-do attitude. My passion for the arts and the great outdoors drives me to be creative and engage in various physical activities that deepen my connection with nature. Whether it's hiking through lush landscapes, catching waves while surfing, expressing the essence of a place through drawing, or observing through meditation, I feel most alive when immersed in these activities. Moreover, I also find fulfillment when working with the land and being in water.
Cultivating my own vegetables and plants brings me joy whenever space allows. Recent pursuits have led me to embrace community living, building, permaculture practices, and disciplines such as Yoga, Kirtans, and Vipassana meditation
In the past, I've volunteered with diverse communities in the UK, Portugal, and Morocco, experimenting with various natural building methods and materials, from off-grid communities to chalets and hostels. My experiences have nurtured a deep-seated desire to contribute meaningfully to a community, where cultural exchange and collaboration flourish.
Ultimately, I seek to be an integral part of a community where I can share ideas, learn new skills, languages, deepen my yoga practice, and embark on a journey of personal growth and authenticity.

Work Experience
I have worked for a variety of different jobs in my time, being a bar man, labourer, landscaper, events crew member, delivery driver, personal assistant, support worker, teaching assistant and technical assistant.
In the past, support work has taught me a lot. I have been a personal assistant for a disabled man, supporting and helping him run his own mobile DJ business. I have also worked in different settings in and outside of schools, where I was responsible for the care and welfare of children. Assisting with activities: play sessions, storytelling, circle time, arts and crafts, music sessions and forest school etc. Alongside this I have volunteered with the creative youth network helping young people express their creativity through woodwork and landscape gardening. All jobs that were very rewarding and taught me a lot about myself.
Travel Experience
Some of my boldest adventures have taken place in the southeast of Asia. I took part in a survival trip that comprised of two Kenya’s, one German and two English men, as well as myself. We travelled across east Indonesia and its archipelagos. Island hoping for two months living off the land and sea. Experiencing some of the most untouched and beautiful reefs in the world. (a boat safari) Our journey stretched from the island of Timor to Alor, Alor to East Nusa and landed on many islands in between. We experienced life at sea and in the bush and adapted to new environments. A trip that helped me learn more about myself, facing fears, stripping myself of comforts and overcoming testing times with relationships. A Trip I will never forget. Some more information
