Description
Hello! We are Juliette (28, from France) and Rye (29, from Australia). We met while travelling, and hope to keep exploring the world together for a long time, meeting new people and opening ourselves up to new experiences.
We love all things movement and outdoors - hiking, climbing, surfing, winter sports, and learning new sports and ways to move our bodies. We are also passionate about reading and having discussions around philosophy, spirituality and all things in between.
For me (Rye) traveling has a special place in my heart as it is also my parents passions and I have spent my whole life traveling and exploring the world. It also perfectly feeds so many of my passions and interests.
For me (Juliette), traveling is also special to my heart and my love for it grows as I travel alongside Rye. We hope not just to travel places but to really immerse ourselves in the incredible culture and people those places have to offer.

Yes we would both love to learn other languages to better understand the culture and people we meet. Rye is learning Portuguese and French and Juliette is learning Spanish, but would love to learn and understand all sorts of other languages better.

I (Rye) have a wide range of skills for the variety of jobs I have worked over the years. I have always worked hospitality as my main job or supporting job over the last 7 years so have a range of skills around services, cleaning, cooking and knowledge of fast paced environments. Over the last 3 years I have also been a Personal Trainer running my own business . As well as this I have spent time working in a bouldering gym, detailing boats and helping out in my friends workshop.
Aside from professional skills I have all the basic house hold skills but a particular love of things to do with cooking and working outdoors with my hands.
I (Juliette) have experience in teaching languages (French and English) both professionally and casually. I also many years of experience taking care of kids of all ages as an au pair and babysitter, from very young babies to older kids. I have worked in a farm in Quebec and also did some gardening in the Azores with Rye, so always happy when the opportunity to get my hands dirty arises. I am currently training to become a massotherapist in Quebec and will be licensed in a few months.
