Hi, my name is Roy. I was born and raised in the Netherlands. I am a very keen traveller and enjoy the outside nature more than anything. I have been working as a Volunteer coordinator/Ranger on a Big 5 game reserve in South Africa for more than 6 years now, and this really inspired me into wanting to visit/experience more and more countries, places and cultures to learn as much as I can about the outside world.
I am a hard worker and I am very keen to learn new skills and knowledge about as many different things as possible. Being outside, assisting in education and the sharing of knowledge, and doing good for nature and wildlife in general is some of my highest values. I would love to extend my influence in this in multiple areas all over the world.
I am very excited to start my Work Away career with my partner and can't wait to experience what the world has to offer us.
Hi my name is Destiny. I was born and raised in the UK, on the South coast. A big lover of the ocean and all things nature. I have spent the last decade working with animals. Predominantly in rescue/rehabilitation. Specialised in avian care.
I am very passionate about nature, conservation and wildlife. A keen traveller and explorer too. I would love to expand my knowledge in all areas. I am a hard worker, conscientious and open minded. I am hoping to learn new skills, share knowledge and join projects close to my heart. I am very excited to start my workaway journey with my partner Roy as we travel and experience new cultures and what the world has to offer.

Roy has degrees in Geography education and Field guiding + Trails guiding for Big 5 reserves in Southern Africa.
Destiny has an animal management and care degree and has done loads of courses linked to wildlife, conservation and animal care, specialised in Birds of Prey and exotic birds.
We have experience in working with wildlife and conservation in multiple countries, both volunteering and as a profession. And are very hands-on when it comes to being outdoors and in nature.
