Description
We reply to messages promptly, so please do get in touch :)
After finding each other in bonny Scotland back in 2020, getting married in 2025, and buying Bill the caravan, we've been on adventures through Europe and The Channel Islands searching for somewhere that feels like home. We now find ourselves on the road and travelling to seek like-minded folk and to earn some pocket money along the way.
We are currently travelling in our fully-mobile trailer caravan, Bill, who's been our tiny home on wheels since mid 2025. This means that we are self-contained, with our own living arrangements but will require access to water, electricity and will need to discuss waste disposal beforehand.
We will also be bringing our car with us, so travelling to remote far away lands are always possible, providing the caravan can survive too!
For a very long time, we felt like outsiders in our home countries; wishing to interact with eco-friendly, nature loving, outdoorsy folk like ourselves, but finding mostly those social-media obsessed and content with the 9-5 lifestyle.
We are both outdoors people, spending our free time exploring the wilderness with Meggy Moo our wonderful Lab X Collie, hiking, foraging, creating, cooking, woodworking, illustrating, mechanicing, problem solving, crafting and all sorts of hands-on bits and bobs.
Rowan has a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in Animal Science and is a fully qualified Forest School Leader. Dino is a fully qualified landscape gardener, with several years of experience in Foresty and is also working towards his BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science.
We have always worked outdoors so getting dirty, working in all weathers and getting stuck in are really no problem for us at all! We are both very practical people that enjoy physical, outdoor work, general DIY tasks and being around animals.
We are both friendly, polite, hard-working and honest and never shy away from a hard day's work.
We are really interested in learning more about sustainability, eco-friendly living, conservation, native wildlife, the outdoors, alternative living, ANY practical skills and the mysteries of life.
We will be travelling for an extended period in our caravan with our beautiful, kind, soft-natured dog Meggy Moo. She is very low maintenance, loves meeting new people and never makes a noise (unless she's snoring!).
Whilst we are happy working, Meggy is happy to bask in the sunshine, or simply nap under a tree nearby. She is fully house-trained, likes her own space when it comes to other dogs (generally just ignores them) and is super friendly with humans. She really is the kindest, well-behaved doggy around.
We would love to come and stay with you and meet people out there that share our values about nature and the outdoors. So if you have any physical work to carry out, animals to care for, wildlife conservation tasks or anything that gets us outdoors - we are your people!
Other interests include, but are by no means limited to foraging, woodworking, keeping fit, creative pursuits e.g. paintings, pyrography, drawing, DIYing, cooking, music and lots more that we don't want to bore you with! A little side note though, we absolutely love music and would be so excited to hear live music and join in a jam session or several!!!
So if you think our little family could be a good fit for you, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
We look forwards to hearing from you. Thanks for your time :)
