Description
Hi, I'm Roshi, a 27 year old Dutch/Australian traveller. I'm infectiously positive and have seemingly endless energy. I love the outdoors, especially the mountains; rock and mountain climbing have recently become passions of mine. I enjoy cooking and baking vegan delights both camping outdoors and in actual kitchens.
I grew up in the Pacific Islands, Australia and in Holland which makes me good at adapting and learning.
I love to travel slowly, get to know people and places intimately, even if that means I miss out on seeing some of the "bucket list" stuff. I work a couple of hours a week for an NGO that supports humanitarian aid in the South Pacific, a job that I love and I can take with me anywhere!

More details about your skills
I have lots of experience teaching people, from sports to language, I love to help people learn new things and learn myself while doing so!
I'm not afraid of a little (or a lot of) physical labour. I am strong, fit and hard working. Farm life and living through multiple natural disasters have taught me the value of self-sufficiency, community and team work.
I received basic first aid knowledge growing up as my mother is a nurse and I grew up in the tropics and the outback, where you have to know how to treat a wound or stop a fever. Since then I also have done First Aid courses and currently have an up-to-date certificate in Basic First Aid (Australia)

What else ...
Having spent part of my childhood on a farm and hotel in rural Australia, I'm used to communal living and cooking, gardening, and baking bread for big groups of people. As a kid I rode horses and cared for livestock, pets and wildlife alike so have lots of experience and a love for animals and nature as well. Upon moving to the city in Europe I developed a fascination with culture and history and now have a bachelor in Archaeological Science. In my free time I climb, hike and (teach) boxing. I recently have gotten into playing music, trying to learn the guitar and the djembe. I also love to dance!
