Description
Hi! I'm Romane, 27, from France. I work in a school environment, which means I have my summers completely free and I make the most of them by traveling and discovering new places through Workaway.
I've done several experiences already: a horse farm and a cork oak forestry in Portugal, an off-grid autonomous farm also in Portugal, and I spent time in Morocco teaching French. Each of these taught me something different and confirmed that I genuinely enjoy stepping into new environments, learning fast, and being useful.
I travel solo, which I think says a lot about how I approach things: I'm independent, adaptable, and comfortable with the unexpected. I'm looking for a dynamic and enriching experience in Europe, somewhere I can really get involved, meet people, and not just pass through.
I have experience in customer-facing and people-oriented work: I worked in a bakery during my studies, sold magazines, and did a lot of restaurant service. Working daily with teenagers has also made me very comfortable with animation, group dynamics, and keeping energy levels up even in challenging moments. I'm used to fast-paced environments and I like staying organized while keeping a good attitude throughout.
My English is pretty good, my French is obviously fluent, and I pick up languages as I go.
I'm motivated, reliable, and always ready to learn. Looking forward to the next adventure!

I’m a versatile person and used to adapting to the needs around me. Working as a french teacher in an agricultural high school, I discovered how to take care of animals, especially horses, and got involved in a range of practical tasks.
I’m also very comfortable with creative and hands-on activities: I enjoy drawing, cooking, gardening, and DIY projects. I’m organized, independent, and always ready to help—whether it’s caring for animals, maintaining the space, or activities with children.
I’m reliable, motivated, and a quick learner, and I look forward to bringing my energy into a new project!
