We are in Italy at the moment as Cat has a stint at Venice Biennale and we will continue traveling in Italy until end of June. We are interested in language and cultural exchange, farming, and art.
Description
Cat is from Indonesia and Chris is from Germany. We met in Singapore and lived there for many years. Between the two of us, we have lived in Indonesia, Germany, China, Spain, Czech, Philippines, Canada, and USA. We are now traveling while we figure out our next home :)
Currently, Cat is volunteering at Venice Biennale and Chris is working remotely and learning Italian language/culture at the same time.
We love meeting people from diverse backgrounds, traveling to places and spend quality time there and learning their local customs and culture. Finding connections in the unlikeliest places is truly the best gift in life.

Cat is an advertising/media professional. She likes cooking/baking and used to volunteer in soup kitchens and prepping ingredients for large cooking. Other voluntary works she has done - being an English tutor, a docent in a museum, working in urban farms. She has also managed art exhibitions, engaging with visitors with guided tours.
Cat also loves writing - she wrote a few travel pieces for a national newspaper in Singapore and recently completed a book as a creative project, so will be happy to help in this.
Chris works as a software consultant for small and medium Businesses so he can help with tech/computer/software. He loves getting to know languages and is able to speak German, English, Chinese, French, Italian, Spanish, and Bahasa Indonesia. He has taught English before and will be happy to do the same for German. He is passionate about board games and role playing games, and also improv theatre.
