Description
Hi everyone!! I'm Riho, 32 easy going Japanese backpacker! currently in Japan, and I'm heading to Hokkaido next year(2026).
A little bit about me: I enjoy snowboarding, hikes, taking walks and chatting over tea, spending hours in cafés that serve sweets. 😋
This journey, which started in 2021 and has kept going unexpectedly, has allowed me to keep learning, discovering new things, and embracing fresh challenges through the many projects I’ve been lucky to work and volunteer on.
What I've learned includes maintaining, cleaning, cooking and assisting with workshops, DIY projects, gardening, harvesting, planting, and feeding animals.
At the moment, I particularly enjoy learning about topics related to permaculture. I find it fascinating to see the different styles that make use of each location’s unique characteristics, and I hope to take on the challenge myself one day (I’ll need to find a place to live first).
