Description

Driven by a long-held dream of traveling, I have set out for Western Canada, embracing a minimalist lifestyle in my van. I am eager to meet new people, learn new things, and, if possible, contribute to local business projects.

As a calm and thoughtful person, I want to use this experience to step out of my comfort zone and improve my social skills. In my free time, I have a strong interest in old-growth forests, First Nations culture, and foraging for burn-site morels. I also have a background as a wildlife and environmental technician. My English is at an intermediate level (B1), and I am looking for a language exchange to improve.

My Skills:
- Expertise: Wildlife and environment (field technician). Experienced in forestry and farm work.
- Handy: Resourceful with basic repairs, painting, and gardening. I have a strong desire to develop these skills further, especially in crafts (woodwork, pottery, metalwork...).
- Cooking: I love baking bread, making frangipane tarts, and cooking carbonara for my hosts!
- Languages: French (Native), English (B1), motivated by a language exchange.

Propulsé par un rêve de voyage depuis plusieurs années, j'ai mis en œuvre mon projet de partir vers l'Ouest canadien en ne gardant que l'essentiel dans ma van. Je désire rencontrer de nouvelles personnes, apprendre de nouvelles choses et, si possible, participer à des projets d'entreprise.

Homme calme et philosophe, je souhaite profiter de cette expérience pour m'ouvrir davantage et parfaire mes habiletés sociales. Durant mon temps libre, j'ai un grand intérêt pour les forêts anciennes, la culture des Premières Nations et la cueillette de morilles de feu. J'ai également une formation de technicien en environnement. Mon anglais est de niveau intermédiaire (B1) et je recherche un échange linguistique pour progresser.

Mes compétences :
- Expertise : Faune et environnement (technicien de terrain). Habitué au travail en forêt et à la ferme.
- Manuel : Débrouillard pour le bricolage de base, la peinture et le jardinage. J'ai le fort désir de développer ces compétences, particulièrement dans l'artisanat (bois, poterie, fer...).
- Cuisine : J'adore faire le pain, les tartes frangipanes et les pâtes carbonara pour mes hôtes !
- Langues : Français (maternel), Anglais (B1), motivé par un échange linguistique.
