Hi! We’re Ale & Nick — two flatmates, good friends, and adventure-seekers!
This summer, we're looking for a Workaway experience close to nature, surrounded by animals, good people, and meaningful work.
We’re both creative and friendly, ready to help with anything from cooking and gardening to DIY projects and animal care. We love sharing stories, learning from others, and working as a team.
About Ale! 🔭📸🤺
Ale is a work psychologist who designs learning experiences in companies. He’s passionate about photography, astronomy, and long nature walks. He loves observing the stars, taking deep conversations under the trees, and capturing beauty in the small things.
About Nick! 🐈⬛🎒✍️
Nick brings great energy, manual skills, and an open heart. She is a middle school teacher, who loves reading&writing stories, theatre and being amazed by nature. A day without learning something new is a day not fully lived.
We both love animals, know our way around a kitchen, and genuinely enjoy helping others.
We're looking forward to connecting with hosts who value simplicity, kindness, and shared moments. We’d be happy to contribute with our skills, creativity and curiosity — and hopefully make unforgettable memories along the way.

During my life, I have traveled a lot, for study, work, curiosity, friends, love. During this time I learned a lot of things: first of all, a great flexibility and spirit of collaboration and adaptation.
I'm living alone, so I do on my own all chores of the house, such as cooking (good Italian food), cleaning, washing machine, little maintenance (es. painting) and so on.
I like cooking and trying to play guitar (a bit!). I like also take photos and using digital tools, for my professional and personal life.
This is my 4th Workaway experience, before I worked for a family with two children and a beautiful dog and a little farm, then in the International Youth Hostel of Glendalough (Ireland) with other 22 Volunteers, and, finally, in a cute farm in Sweden to repair a little cottage and take care of animals of the place.

I am a really passionate about social and board games, any kind of them!
I also adore just take a relax on the grass, feel time slow down and appreciate the moment.
I can't resist starry skies: observe them in a clear sky is one of the most beautiful activities for me.
