We are currently in Oklahoma interested in the Southwest, especially Arizona. We are interested in animal care, gardening, personal assistant, personal organization projects, and cooking.

Description

We are Rae Everlasting and Twinfeathers. Our profile photo is from a recent trip we took to sing and play native flute at our friends wedding. Now that our children are grown, We are excited to travel, explore new places, meet new people, and enjoy new experiences. Rae spent time traveling as a Workawayer from 2020 to 2021 and loved it! Now that we are a couple, we look forward to making new memories with new hosts in new places.

We both enjoy singing and Twinfeathers plays the Native flute beautifully. We find great joy cooking and creating recipes for nutritious and delicious vegetarian and vegan food especially for those with food sensitivities. Rae loves playing in the dirt and watching plants grow. She has a natural green thumb. We both communicate with nature, with animals, and plants. Rae has offered Animal Communication and Animal Reiki as part of her practice for more than 25 years. Our happy place is being in nature with animals and people who love them.

We both have experience in education. Twinfeathers has experience with Youth Leadership Building and At Risk Youth. As an Air Force veteran, Twinfeathers founded Flutes for Vets in Tucson, AZ, to teach veterans how to play the peaceful native flute. Rae has worked with youth to improve their critical thinking and problem solving skills. She also served as director of a federal program to reintroduce Cherokee language and culture to the Cherokee of eastern Oklahoma as well as other federal and state programs to enhance the lives of underserved students.

We have a wide range of skills between us. We have both raised children, seven between the two of us. We both have experience in education, primarily middle and high school. Twinfeathers has worked with Youth Leadership Development and At Risk Youth. Rae has served as director of a federal program for reintroduction of Cherokee language and culture to Cherokee students and the community.

Twinfeathers is a veteran of the Air Force where she served as a metrology technician and avionics communication specialist. She founded Flutes for Vets in Tuscon, AZ to help vets by teaching them Native flute. She has taught flute for 25 years.

Rae has worked in the public school classroom teaching Technology Education, in Administration as District IT, as Director and/or Assistant Director of various federal and state programs and Grant Writer. She has founded and managed multiple small businesses, served as a business consultant, and integrative medicine practitioner and teacher, and is a published author.

Being in nature, spending time with animals, cooking and serving amazing meals, singing and creating music are some of the things that bring us great joy. Rae has a green thumb and is so very happy in the dirt with the plants encouraging them to grow. Learning new things, meeting new people and having new experiences light us up.

We love video chatting with our grandkids! We love having them read to us and we love telling them stories. We love to walk every day, weather permitting. We love to laugh, joke around and be playful. We love to learn and explore. We love to research things that fascinate us. We enjoy board games and coloring books.
