  • Description

    Hello.

My name is Rabia, I’m originally from the UK, and I’m currently travelling to explore new ways of living, learning, and connecting. I’ve spent over a decade in education and healing work, and I’m now taking a soul-led break from the 9–5 to serve, share, and grow through meaningful exchange.

I’m a qualified secondary English and Philosophy teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching GCSE and A-Level students (11-18 years olds). I also have a background in creative writing, storytelling, and content creation, and I’m passionate about the power of story as a tool for both education and healing. Alongside my teaching career, I’ve worked in hospitality, retail, social and charity sectors—gaining practical, grounded skills through years of balancing full-time work and study from a young age.

Before arriving in Australia, I was volunteering at an off-grid retreat centre in Peru. There, I taught spoken English to a 6-year-old for several hours daily, and I supported retreat guests through integration coaching, breathwork, energy healing, and emotional holding. My role was to help create a safe, grounded container for guests to process trauma, healing, and spiritual insights. This work deeply reaffirmed my calling to hold space for others' transformation.

In recent years, I’ve been retraining to become a counsellor; I am currently taking a break from my training to become a qualified psychotherapist. I also work as an emotional empowerment coach, supporting people both online and in person to explore and work through emotional, psychological, and spiritual blocks. I’m trained in energy healing, with a focus on womb work and holistic massage for women.

During my teenage years, I volunteered with VSO in Ethiopia, working at a Orphanage in Awassa; I have supported UK and international charities to fundraise, and walked 110 miles for the British Red Cross to raise funds for refugees. I believe kindness, curiosity, and hard work can create real change—and I love being part of meaningful, hands-on projects.

I’m an open, accepting, and compassionate woman who loves to connect with people from all walks of life. I value depth, quiet reflection, and shared laughter in equal measure. I enjoy nature walks, meditation, good food, deep conversation, and I’m always up for learning something new—especially if it involves culture, community, or creativity.

I’m a homebody with a curious soul—someone who loves curling up with a book but also deeply enjoys meeting new people, socialising, and sharing stories around the table or by the fire.

At this point in life, I’m seeking meaningful connection, simplicity, and the opportunity to serve others while continuing to learn and grow myself. Whether it’s helping with daily tasks, children, teaching, cooking, gardening, or supporting your family or project, I bring presence, compassion, and heart to what I do.

Thank you for reading—I look forward to walking through new doors, exchanging with open minds, and sharing stories under new skies.

  • What else ...

I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s going on long walks, exploring new landscapes, or simply being present in natural surroundings. I'm especially drawn to nature, ancient archaeology, and historical sites, and I enjoy learning from different people and hearing diverse perspectives on how the world works. I believe that as human beings we’re all deeply connected, and that travel isn’t just about discovering new places but about discovering more of ourselves. Through these experiences, we grow not only as individuals but also as global citizens, becoming better role models for the next generation. In today’s world of uncertainty, I feel it’s the responsibility of every adult to strive to be a better human. For me, the true purpose of life is to show up as ourselves with joy, presence, and peace, and to be a light for one another when needed - for life isn't always smooth sailing. I truly resonate with the saying, "In the end, we’re all just walking each other home..." and I believe that every soul we meet, child or adult, is a mirror and teacher for us, if we are willing to learn.
