I was history teacher for 25 years, therefore I enjoy being around people and engaging in meaningful interactions. As a proud Mexican-American, my knowledge about Mexican history and culture is something I carry with me and love to share. In addition, I have volunteered with several nature based organizations and have a certificate in conservation studies and have learned about several ecosystems. I also love, love, love the outdoors and being in nature is my happy place. I am in good physical condition and have experience lots of experience hiking and back packing, and as well as some experience biking, kayaking, river rafting, and rock climbing. On the household duties front, I like cooking but would rather clean.

I am fast learner and open to learning to enhance my abilities. I am taking Zumba right now and plan to take a Salsa class so hopefully I will become a little better at my dancing skills.
