Hi. My name is Rab, I'm a carpenter from Scotland. I've been traveling and volunteering all over the world (mostly through helpx). I like meeting people, and learning new skills. Also I enjoy making and fixing things, I've put up a few pictures of some of the things I've made.

Wow! I'm really trying to catch up on my feedback for 2023 as we had some pretty great Workawayers/Friends stay with us. We really enjoyed hosting Rab. He was always kind hearted, soft spoken and enjoyed several family excursions with us. He was helpful in the kitchen, entertained us with his guitar playing, and even taught us a card game. Rab exhibited his woodworking skills and built beautiful sliding barn doors . He was great looking after our large animals

Rab stayed with us for 4 weeks and it was nice to enjoy his company and his precious help expecially on carpentry activities.Polite, cheerful and always ready for a joke. He worked with pleasure and learnt every task quickly. He helped us in the garden, cleaning lawns and woods, using the chainsaw and the brushcutter with confidence. He has also… read more

Marco is a great host, always made sure we had lots of food (going to the shops every two or three days), took us on a trip up the mountains, or into Locarno, or taking us out for pizza. He really knows a lot about the area, and looks after you well!

I had a really great time here. Jake, Sophie and Sue are all really friendly, hard working people, and their kids, Lyra and Jubal are probably two of the best kids you could meet.
