Greetings everyone!
My name is Qianhan (Q), 33 years old solo traveler - currently based in Australia living the dream.
I was born and raised in China and then moved to Germany at the age of 11 with my family - been living in Europe since 2004 until I decided to quit the corporate life and come to Australia in 2024 in order to hopefully one day become an average surfer (not there yet but loving it!).
I'm new to this community but already a big fan of the concept. I'm a people-person, genuinely curious about others and value authentic connections and relationships. I'm a language lover and speak English, German, French and Mandarin Chinese fluently - working on my Spanish. In my spare time I like to stay active, spend time in the ocean, play with animals, read books, cook, meditate, play chess, the guitar, go for walks or simply enjoy being in nature and / or around people.
I hope to cross paths with some incredible people - hosts or workawayers alike - to share our experiences while doing something wholesome and meaningful.

- General maintenance and construction around the house, land and laboring
- Gardening, fencing, tree-planting, lawn mowing and general weeding and trimming
- Food & Beverages, general hospitalliy (I´m a passionate cook and cooked for 50+ people for 10 days while volunteering at a retreat, worked as a bartender and restaurant server in NYC)
- Animal care (no extensive experience but love all animals and took care of dogs and cats)
- Business administration, project- and people management (10 years in the corporate environment and in HR)

Always down for a game of chess, Go, Catan, some guitar, pool / billiards, a surf, dive, volleyball or philosophical discussions. Currently live in a 40 year-old Toyota Coaster and love it.
