Chinese Gardener & Mum: A Worldschooling Adventure with My Son
About Me:
Hello! I'm Qianqian, a passionate flower farmer, florist, and gardener based in a small farm on the outskirts of Chengdu, China. My life is a creative blend of cultivating the land and curating a beautiful lifestyle, which I love to document through photography and video as a content creator.
I am a firm believer in experiential learning. As a mother who doesn't align with the traditional Chinese education system, I have embarked on an ambitious and heartfelt project: a "worldschooling" journey with my 9-year-old son. We are setting out to learn from the world firsthand, and we would be thrilled to join your project.
We are a hardworking, curious, and capable duo. Between us, we have a rich set of practical skills including:
· Gardening & Permaculture: From planting to landscape design.
· Homemade Cooking: Preparing wholesome, delicious meals.
· Content Creation: Photography, videography, and social media management.
What We're Looking For:
Our journey is focused on connection and growth. We are especially eager to connect with:
· Eco-farms, gardens, and homesteads where we can contribute our green thumbs and learn about your local practices.
· Hosts who are curious about Chinese culture and language. We would love to be your cultural bridge!
· B&B or guesthouse owners interested in the Chinese market. I can help you tell your story and attract Chinese travelers.
What We Offer:
In exchange for your hospitality, we offer not just our physical help, but also our creativity and digital skills. I am an established lifestyle blogger in China with a dedicated following on platforms like Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book). You can find me by searching "倩倩是个农场主" to see my work.
I would be delighted to:
· Create high-quality photo and video content showcasing your beautiful place.
· Manage or advise on your Chinese social media accounts.
· Share your story with my audience to help you reach potential Chinese visitors.
We are open, respectful, and truly excited about the prospect of learning from you, sharing our skills, and becoming a part of your story, even if just for a little while.
Let's grow and learn together!

What else ...
For me, this journey is more than travel; it's a global education experiment for my son and a personal exploration for future retirement. Simple sightseeing no longer holds the same appeal – I'm much more interested in forging genuine connections with locals and understanding their way of life.
My heart lies in nature over convenient transport, and I have a deep love for the countryside over cities. That said, to ensure my 9-year-old son has a rich variety of experiences, we are happy to stay in urban areas for short periods.
If we're in a city, I'd love to explore the local food markets and supermarkets. It would be a wonderful bonus if your family has children of a similar age! We could have a fantastic language and cultural exchange, and I'd also be interested in learning about local schools. My son is quite patient and engaging with other children.
If we're in a rural farm or homestead, the simple pleasure of being able to cycle around the area would be perfect. To truly connect with a place and its people without feeling rushed, I prefer to stay for no less than two weeks at each location.
