Hello, I'm Phoebe! I am currently taking a 6 month sabbatical from my job as an Art Director in London to travel around Australia. I would love to use this time out of the office in a meaningful way and to connect with people, engage with different ways of living and learn new skills. I'm a joyful, kind-natured and inquisitive person who gets stuck into any task no matter how big or small!

I thrive being in nature, whatever the weather, whether that's gardening or helping to build or general maintenance, I will be doing it with a smile on my face. I'm not afraid of physical work, I am a quick learner with a lot of patience and the determination to get the job done properly (and done well). I also love cooking, hosting and preparing meals for guests and just generally being in the kitchen environment exchanging tips and tricks from others. You can never have too many recipes in your back pocket! With cooking comes cleaning and I pride myself on being a great cleaner who finds so much joy in seeing the before and after.

As my job title back home might suggest, I am a very creative person and love to get stuck into any crafty projects, coming up with ideas and getting to take part in creating something amazing. In my free time, I love yoga, hiking, journaling, swimming and anything to do with being outside and active.

I’m looking forward to meeting new people, becoming part of everyday life, and sharing my time, energy, and positive attitude in a welcoming place.

The skills I can offer are very varied. From creative jobs such as painting, photography, videography, coming up with social media plans and capturing engaging content. To helping out in the kitchen, preparing meals, catering to different dietary requirements, chopping, baking and planning meals. I'm also handy at DIY, building things, using power tools, repairing and fixing things, although my technical skills may not be extensive I am eager to learn and have got patience and logical common sense. I love gardening, having redesigned and planted two previous gardens back home, my knowledge of plants and getting stuck in attitude has helped to created beautiful spaces and my ability to maintain them. Other skills include being confident and comfortable around animals, having owned an array of different animals throughout my life, I love caring for them and I have the knowledge to go with that. I am also comfortable with looking after children and feel confident to do so! I'm great at organising and cleaning spaces and I take pride in doing so. Alongside all the skills I have written about above, I love learning new skills and do so quickly with ease and with lots of enthusiasm and a positive attitude! I am excited to put my skill to good use!
