  • Description

    Hey,
so I'm a 37 year old originally from Poland, passionate about learning and experiencing new things, different cultures, mentalities, perspectives, skills and all that stuff that makes world a one huge library for me. I’ve always loved meeting new people and learn from them. I also really want to give back to community since I've encoutnered kindness many times all around the world and I know how massive positive impact that is!

    Some background:
I've graduated in Social Science and I've been working in this area for few years after graduation, however later I switched to more IT related jobs where I'm now . I've been working remotely since about 2014 and traveling around spliting my year between Poland (summer time) and other places (running away from polish winter :)).

Currently I'm preparing myself for a round-a-world trip on a motorbike but first I want to get some more experience and test my setup so I want to spend few months in sotuhern Europe to explore and drive around.

Even though I'm an "IT guy" I'm not afraid of manual labor, I actually kind of miss it a bit since I'm defintely spending too much time in front of the laptop :)

Never been good with talking about myself, but in general I’m adaptable, hardworking, friendly, easy-going, adventurous person, and I love taking on new challenges.

I like different kind of activities, definitely into any outdoor stuff (I'm carrying my bicycle and SUP with me), but I'm also into board games, watching movies or just chilling and talking.

If it's about thing I would like to improve about myself, there are two.
Cooking - I've never been very good at it, couldn't just get the joy of it like people do, but I believe it's because I've never been properly introduced to this. Don't get me wrong, I can cook, I will make food and survive (still doing it :) ) but it's mostly basic stuff. Like cooking with people though.

  • More details about your skills

    - Computers & Internet related stuff
So by trait I'm and IT specialist. My mysterious corporate world title is low-code automation specialists, which means I've spend a lot of time with computers and programs. Even if I don't know particular one, I will find a way to know it fast.
    - Constructions
Not a professional for sure, but I did some DIY projects in my life such as renovating my own apartment by myself (and YT tutorials :)), helping building bamboo houses for the village or recently building set up for my car
    - Wide range of farming jobs
I've spent many years of my childhood/teenage years on my grandparent's farm helping around all year around and especially harveting time. I've also live for more than a year in provincial Phillipino village so I'm quite acustom to living in a countryside. I actually prefer it over city life at this point of my life.
    - Hospitality/Tourism
During my studies I've been working in multiple hostels, hotels, resorts, restaurants and bars so have a quite nice experience there as well. I have also visited countless places as a guest around the world so I might bring some ideas to your place as well

  • What else ...

    - I have a car and motorcycle international driving license and experience as well
    - I used to attended Air Traffic Controller training in my country although I've quit it, I know a lot about planes and air traffic! (quite useless, I know, but a lot of fun facts there)
    - I've been to/lived in many countries in my life across different cultures so I'm really well adapting and always respectfull
