Description

Hi, we are Paul and Paula from a city near Stuttgart in Germany. From August 2022 to August 2023, we spent the year in Camphill Community Ballybay, Co Monaghan. Since then, we have come back to Ireland every year, and now we would like to try Workaway for the first time to get to know the country from another perspective. In our gap year, we discovered our love for nature and the quiet countryside. We love listening to music (for example, CMAT!) and going to concerts! But we also enjoy some peaceful time for creativity, such as painting, crafting, and reading.

In our gap year, we learned a lot about gardening and farming. In the garden, we did everything from planting to harvesting. On the farm, we milked the cows and we helped with moving the cows and sheep. We did the bedding and helped with maintenance tasks around the community and the fields. We love to cook and cooked a lot in the community for several people. Apart from our gap year, we study social work and love to work with people in general.

Paul is vegetarian and Paula is vegan. We like playing board games and watching movies. Apart from that were open minded and looking forward to everything thats comig next! :)
