Description
Hi there! I’m Lars, 37, originally from Germany and currently living in Leipzig. I work part-time remotely in finance, but over the last years I have realized that I miss more practical, hands-on parts of life and spending time in nature. I already gained some practical experience on vegetable farms through WWOOF and recently took part in a three-month market gardening training program, where I learned more about crop planning, sowing, transplanting and general vegetable growing. I enjoy learning by doing and like understanding not only how things are done, but also why. I’m curious about gardening, self sufficiency and rural life because I want to understand how people actually live and build a meaningful everyday life around in nature. I also enjoy cooking together, dancing, being outdoors and getting to know open-minded people and different ways of living.

- I gained first hands on experience in gardening, planting, composting, and basic animal care during two organic farm stays in Europe.
- I volunteered in Kenya, where I supported English lessons for children and helped with everyday tasks in a rural school.
- I’m trained as an EMT (basic-level paramedic in Germany), so I have a solid background in first aid and emergency response.
- I really enjoy cooking for others and am happy to help in the kitchen or take the lead when needed :)
- I’m physically and mentally strong and enjoy manual work, DIY tasks, and outdoor projects that require strength and endurance.
- My background is in finance and accounting, so I can also help with budgeting, financial planning, and even private investment or insurance topics if your project involves that kind of support.
Overall I’m hands-on, reliable, and curious to learn and happy to contribute wherever help is needed. -
