Hello everyone!
Thank you for taking the time to read this description. I'm Hans, a 32-year-old half German, half Madagascan globetrotter. I was born and raised in Western Germany. People describe me as adventurous, culturally open-minded, friendly, and influential.
I have visited around 45 countries so far, mostly as a backpacker. I also lived as a student in the Middle East and Southeast Asia for an extended period, where I also worked as a language instructor (German, French & Arabic). Each experience has been a learning journey, shaping who I am today.
In my free time, I invest spending time with my family, especially my young nieces (I also enjoy childcare). Therefore I am reliable when working with children. My skill set also covers cooking and household maintenance. Among my hobbies
are sports like Thai-Boxing, Judo, and Calisthenics, and I really enjoy exploring
local nature.
I am always eager to broaden my horizons by seeking new knowledge, skills, and unforgettable international experiences. Currently, I focus my time on volunteering with inspiring projects around the world. I believe travel should be meaningful and beneficial for the global community, which motivated me to join this platform.

Recently I earned my bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from Germany and have an international driving license. (I have driven in Canada during previous visits).
I am proactive and dedicated to ethical and beneficial work. As a multilingual individual, I have solid experience in teaching languages (French, German, and Arabic).
My skill set includes cooking, household maintenance, DIY and I am reliable when working with children.
I’m looking for a Workaway experience where I can contribute meaningfully. I’m comfortable with physical work and happy to help with a variety of tasks.
